"This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: "SAY TO THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, 'BEHOLD YOUR KING IS COMING TO YOU, GENTLE, AND MOUNTED ON A DONKEY, EVEN ON A COLT, THE FOAL OF A BEAST OF BURDEN.'"" (Matthew 21:4-5 NAS95S)
Observation: Our burden bearer road into Jerusalem upon a beast of burden. The one who knew no sin, came riding an a colt who'd known no burden. And just as this humble ass was yielded to the will of The Master, Christ had yielded himself to the will of His Father.
Application: My burdens are nothing. A house that won't sell. A church to lead. A family to raise. They pail in comparison to the one who bore the weight of the world upon His shoulders. And I hear him saying to my heart this morning:
Peace be still. Give me Your troubled heart my son. Give me Your worries and Your fears. Give me Your hopes and dreams. For I give You my peace.
Yes, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. "You heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.'" (John 14:27-28 NAS95S)
Glory to God. The peace He gives us is not the peace of prosperity, but the peace of His presence... I GO AWAY, AND I WILL COME TO YOU!
There are times in life when it feels as if God has departed, but He promises, I will come. Yea, He is the God who comes in the cloak of darkness. So though we may not see Him, He is here. And though we might not feel Him, He is hear.
The words of the song Nothing is Beyond You give me strength.
Nothing Is Beyond You

As Recorded on The Jesus Record
Sung by Amy Grant
Where could I go, where could I run
Even if I found the strength to fly
And if I rose on the wings of the dawn
And crashed through the corner of the sky
If I sailed past the edge of the sea
Even if I made my bed in Hell
Still there You would find me
'Cause nothing is beyond You
You stand beyond the reach
Of our vain imaginations
Our misguided piety
The heavens stretch to hold You
And deep cries out to deep
Singing that nothing is beyond You
Nothing is beyond You
Time cannot contain You
You fill eternity
Sin can never stain You
Death has lost its sting
And I cannot explain the way You came to love me
Except to say that nothing is beyond You
Nothing is beyond You
If I should shrink back from the light
So I can sink into the dark
If I take cover and I close my eyes
Even then You would see my heart
And You'd cut through all my pain and rage
The darkness is not dark to You
And night's as bright as day
Nothing is beyond You
You stand beyond the reach
Of our vain imaginations
Our misguided piety
The heavens stretch to hold You
And deep cries out to deep
Singing that nothing is beyond You
Nothing is beyond You
And time cannot contain You
You fill eternity
Sin can never stain You
And death has lost its sting
And I cannot explain the way You came to love me
Except to say that nothing is beyond You
Nothing is beyond You
Nothing is beyond You
Prayer: Jesus, be praised this morning. For nothing is beyond You. My fears, my worries, my anger is not beyond You. Riding on a colt, You came as my burden bearer.
Like Simon, You invite me to take up my cross and follow, but I have the assurance that when we reach Calvary's hill, You will lie down on that cross for me. That You did lay down on that cross for me. And it is because of Your sacrifice, that I can die to.
I can die to fear, to worry, and to fret. Nothing is beyond You Jesus, and because of this, I can endure all things through Your strength. I yield. I surrender. I say, "crucify my flesh this morning."
And I will give You all the praise for the blessings that You will bring in Your time and Your way. Amen!

I've been praying about your house, Jim, having been though that challenge several times. I'm glad you're looking in the right direction, and I know that He will make it all work out.
I appreciate those lyrics.
